The average adult receives more than four times the amount of antioxidants from coffee -- regular or decaf -- daily than from black tea (the second-most consumed source), followed by chocolate, bananas, beans and corn.

Joe Vinson, PhD, professor of chemistry, University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and leader of a study of 100 different foods, presented at the 230th national meeting of the American Chemical Society.
